HS Classification

In accordance with the Swiss Customs Tariff (Tares), our Classification tool is based on the internationally valid Harmonized System (HS), in which the first six digits of the 8-digit Swiss tariff headings correspond to the HS. By using natural language to accurately classify goods, our engine can provide detailed information about

  • Notes on Free Trade Agreements
  • Duties and Taxes
  • Import and export licenses
  • Special provisions

Landed Cost Calculator

Our LCC solution offers excellent support for duties and taxes calculation. The engine is ideal for traders who are not familiar with all the customs regulations procedures, duties/taxes calculation, and trade agreement requirements. Our solution helps minimize errors that can cause bottlenecks and financial exposure by preventing unexpected costs.

The main features of our LCC engine consider:

  • Shipping Cost Calculation
  • Import Duties and Excise Duties (if applicable)
  • Taxes and Fees
  • Insurance
  • Currency Conversion
  • Handling Fees

Prohibited and Restricted Goods

This feature provides prime Restricted and Prohibited screening by checking constantly updated P&R lists issued by the Swiss customs authorities. Those lists can be screened by either HS Codes or product descriptions. The engine also recommends appropriate documentation in case of import restrictions.

Import One-Stop-Shop (IOSS)

Suppliers that are not established and do not have a fixed establishment in the EU and are not established in a third country with which the EU has concluded a VAT mutual assistance agreement must appoint an EU-based IOSS intermediary. This is the case of Switzerland. Our engine can register and submit monthly VAT returns for Swiss businesses selling to the EU.

Easily integrable with third-party systems, our APIs can boost your business by bringing vast international opportunities.
